Marija Kimer, M.D., M.Sc., gynecologist-obstetrician, has been practicing gynecology since 1981. Until May 2007 she worked in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Šibenik General Hospital.

She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology in Zagreb, and was Board Certified in 1985, when she also completed the postgraduate study in perinatology and neonatology, led by Prof.A.Dražančić, M.D., Ph.D. In 2002. she defended her master’s thesis entitled “Blood Flow Evaluation in First Trimester Pregnancies Using Transvaginal Pulsed and Color Doppler Ultrasonography”, supervised by Prof.A.Kurjak, M.D., Ph.D.

She attended numerous courses of continuing medical education and gained valuable experience working as head obstetrician of the Šibenik General Hospital Maternity Ward.

Having recognized the need for a modern OB/GYN office in her native town, she decided to open a private practice. Carefully planned, with high-technology equipment, it will enable her to continue to offer expert care and services to her patients under optimal conditions.

She speaks English and understand German.
